This third newsletter provides you with further important information for the upcoming 3^rd Biennial meeting of InSiGHT in Dusseldorf from June 24 - 27, 2009.

Please register on this site as a member (http://www.insight2009.info/members-area) For this you will be asked to define your own username and provide an email address. For logistic reasons, please use the email address that you have indicated to Interplan in the process of registering for the Düsseldorf meeting! After verification of your status as a registered attendee you will have access to all abstracts (oral and posters) beforehand! Also, note that this extra service allows you inform yourself at your own time-convenience. Remember to print only those abstracts that you need in a printed format and to bring them with you to the meeting- take notice, that there will be no separate abstract booklet in your congress bag!

Focus Registry Session on June 25

Everybody interested in learning more about the inner workings of an inherited

CRC register is invited to attend a special session to be held at 7:00am on

Thursday, June 25.  We will be inaugurating a "buddy sytem" to assist newly

established registries.  If you have a registry-related question, please

15 European (and American) CME credits granted !

NOTIFICATION OF ACCREDITATION APPROVAL also for US

For your information, the endorsement of meetings by the UEMS-EACCME enables Doctors holding an American license to claim an automatic recognition of the European credits they gained into American credits.

For this purpose, they simply contact the American Medical Association.

I am pleased to inform you that accreditation approval has been granted for the 3rd Biennial Meeting of InSiGHT (event code CME-0604), by the Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE).

The EACCME endorsement permits to get European recognition of CME credits within the different European states who have agreed to participate in the European accreditation system.

Prepare for the meeting - have a look at all abstracts (download or print as required)

Instead of finding your abstract book in the conference bag at the meeting, this time you can have a look at the highly interesting presentation abstracts beforehand - at your own time convenience! All abstracts, both oral and posters are ready to view or download on the website www.insight2009.info.

This service is available for registered meeting attendees only. We need to verify your authorization, so if you have not yet registered for this site, please do so by following the instructions above (first paragraph of this newsletter).

The abstracts are deposited in the program of this congress site. You have 2 options: open the pdf file for all abstracts of the day or open the pdf for each individual presentation - as you like. Of course the files can be downloaded or printed. Remember to bring print-outs to the meeting, since there will not be an additional printed version of the abstracts. They will, however, be published in familial cancer.

If you are going to give an oral presentation at the upcoming 3^rd Biennial Meeting of Insight it is essential  to log-in in the members area. If you have not yet done this, you should take a minute to get it done (NOW!). This is a prerequisite for uploading your power point presentation and authorization may take approx. 24 hours!

Please upload your power point presentations to this website (Deadline June 10, 2009) and be ready to receive feedback from your session chairpersons.

By now all persons with an accepted abstract for an oral presentation will have received the detailed upload information to their email address. The process is easy and only takes a few minutes http://www.insight2009.info/powerpoint-uploads.

If you have any problems, please ask for support by using the contact form on the website.

 

News for Chairpersons of all plenary sessions

Thank you for agreeing to review the powerpoint presentations of your session beforehand. This is just a reminder at this point, that you have agreed to spare some time from June 11 - June 20 to give feedback to the presenters. The powerpoint presentations will be uploaded by the presenters directly and may be identified by title, session and email address, allowing immediate communication. You do not have any online rights to make alterations - these may be made only by the authors. More detailed information will be sent to your email address after completion of the process of uploads (June 10).
