InSiGHT2009 After-Congress Newsletter Special (7)

This seventh newsletter provides you with information regarding the past 3^rd Biennial meeting of InSiGHT in Dusseldorf from June 24 - 27, 2009.

Thank you to everybody who joined us for this meeting and to those who contributed with excellent presentations! Amazing and wonderful to see everybody keeping so well to the presentation time! Special thanks to the chairpersons who reviewed the presentations beforehand. If you have not yet done so, please forward your chairpersons evaluation form to us at your earliest convenience.  All chairpersons have received the form beforehand and will find it once more in the emails of today.

To all participants: please send back the ACOE standard evaluation reports - you had them in the congress bag. If you need a new copy, please find the PDF on the website in the Menu "Info".

Photos on the website

The pictures that have been taken on Wednesday and on Thursday during the congress dinner, scientific meeting and boat ride Rhein River will be available on the congress homepage at www.insight2009.info in the next days. These are open for everybody and do not require registration to the site as a member.

Publication in Familial Cancer

Only those abstracts will be published, for which the authors have given written consent on the PDF form that has been widely announced and published. Also - for obvious reasons- only the abstracts of those posters will be published, that were actually available at the InSiGHT meeting. This has been decided by Council during the Council Meeting on June 25, 2009.

Online availability of PowerPoint presentations.

The PowerPoint presentations for which we have received written consent will be posted on the website shortly. These will be exclusively reserved to members of our Society of InSiGHT. If you would like to become a member, please go to

http://www.justgiving.com/insightmembership. The dues are ₤30 for membership and ₤75 for membership plus a subscription to the journal Familial Cancer.
